Dogs and Pups Available
From time to time some owners need to re-home their pets, for many reasons.
We offer a service here at the farm, that enables your pet to stay with us on a special boarding rate, until such time as a new pet home is found with a suitable home.
Moving forward into 2024 and onwards we are looking for GVW GSD Partners.
I have become aware that we do a great job with our GSD's and although I wish to myself slow down a little, I would still very much like to contribute to good quality GSD's out there to showcase this wonderful breed.
We raise amazing dogs here and I am keen to find pet homes for our dogs to retire to sooner rather than later.
Historically my girls have had their litters with me and stayed for the duration of those litters, so looking to retire around 5 years old.
We have been incredibly successful in finding the very best of homes for our boys and our girls over the years.
Thank you to all of you past, current and future.
However my mindset is changing.
We raise great dogs, with lovely natures, they have all been extensively tested before any breeding takes place.
They have produced beautiful pups and have been great parents.
With my plan to reduce my dogs over the next few years, I am taking the first steps in finding semi-retirement homes and working with trust worthy people to continue to breed great GSD's.
This simply means that we would like to place our mums that have had 1 litter with a great home with the option that over the next 18 months we look to have a 2nd and final litter.
There will be no charge for our dogs and we will have our girls spayed after that 2nd litter.
This will be a huge emotional commitment so please consider all options before contacting me.
If you may be interested in chatting more about becoming a GVW GSD Partner, then please do get in touch.

The Dogs displayed on this page are available and ready for new homes.
We look forward to your call.
Kind regards,

Hebe
Hebe (Sisi & Quattro 2023)
Hebe is an amazing girl and has so many positive characteristics.
She is exceptionally loving and affectionate, she enjoys being around you and prefers company - although can be left alone for a few hours happily.
She is very well bonded to our other two GSDs - particularly Fuji and has never had any issues in terms of interacting with them.
She is brilliant with our children and particularly loving with our baby and toddler. She is gentle and never shown any signs of nipping or aggression with the children.
She is very patient with them and enjoys cuddles and their attention. Hebe is an anxious girl and this can show up as reactivity at times.
She has a very strong guarding instinct and will survey the front of our property through the window and has a tendency to bark when she doesn’t like the look of a particular person or dog. She doesn’t do this all the time - but it does still happen.
She understands “sit”, “down”, “gentle” and we use “just look” and “watch me” commands on lead walks.
If she is feeling anxious on the lead, she can bark at other dogs - again, this doesn’t happen all the time and she can often be distracted by food.
Due to the reactivity, we don’t let her off lead but she was walked off lead by our dog walker in a pack as a young dog. We have also done long line training with her and she enjoyed this. She’s very scent driven and we have tried man trailing with her which she LOVED.
She’s exceptionally bright and highly trainable. With the right person, I suspect she would make an amazing companion to do scent based work with or man trailing in a more competitive way.
We have worked on her not jumping at visitors and strangers - she’s so much better at this now. She can be a bit “barky” when we have a new visitor initially in the house but quickly calms down and relaxes.
She’s fully toilet trained - no issues at all there.
She isn’t spayed as has an umbilical hernia which will need repairing at the same time as the spay. Our vet has recommended waiting until the new year.

Daughter of Jyfell (external mother bred by GVW) & T’Challa, Granddaughter to Sierra & Vito
SiSi is 3rd generation GVW GSD
SiSi is named after her grandmothers Sierra’s pet name.
A very special girl for me in many ways. Sierra was the most wonderful of girls, being one of my 4 patriarch girls, Sooner, Hope, Sapphire & Sierra. These 4 girls would mix with any dog, raise any pup, be in charge of any situation, they were all calm, caring and fiercely loyal to me.
Sierra had only 2 litters of 5 girls in each litter. Sadly one of the girls from these litters was bred from by an external person and a legacy of extremely bad breeding took place simply to produce unique colours. This experience for me was the sole reason why I never lift restrictions to breed anymore.
SiSi is all I have of Sierra and so for me to continue such a special girls’ lines in a healthy, correct and ethical way is important.
SiSi is one of the rarest of colours you’ll find in the GSD, being Isabella, a unique fusion of ginger tones.
This girl is power and on reflection should have been called Boadicea, she fears nothing and will give her whole self to keep your space safe for you. With this nature comes a fine balance. Once SiSi knows you she is ‘yours’ no compromise, no judgement, no negotiation, she is simply all yours, however her space is your space and she will guard it with ferocity.
SiSi will not welcome strangers lightly but once she knows you, there are no bounds to her love and affection for you.
I would very much like to find SiSi a semi-retirement home but know that this will take a very special location a very special owner and ultimately a very special friend to take SiSi into their lives, until then she will of course be loved by me.

Boy
Splash is the grandmother of our youngster Ingo, who she loves to play with.
She came over to us early 2024 and found a firm friend in Boy pretty much straight away. As her name suggests, water is her true pleasure, which was just as well as she landed in England during one of our wettest spells on records, so took full advantage of flooded fields, chasing through them with great delight.
Splash is a happy girl, a little cautious at times, but very giving, very gentle and happy.
She is a beautiful girl physically with that power blue, white and very light tan Panda marked coat, a real beauty in so many ways.
It’s always a challenge for an older dog to come into our lifestyle. Splash is very loving, and I would like to see her in a wonderful pet home sooner rather than later.
Splash has been an excellent mother and is happy to show her youngsters the fields, garden, menage and enjoy chilled time with them.
Splash will have her final litter with us in the Summer of 2025.

Ingo
This wonderful little chap who joined us Autumn 2023. What a kind natured, happy dog he is.
Super with all the other dogs and a great favourite not just visually but in personality.
Ingo has clearly had the best upbringing that is so obviously reflected in just how he is.
He loves to climb on the hay bales and make a mess, he loves to eat horse pooh too!!!!
Ingo also loves a game of tag and chase and is simply a happy young man.
Sadly Ingo’s Elbow scores did not come back as I would have liked and so he has been neutered.
He lives a full and happy life here with us and is a firm favourite with our dogs and dogs coming in to board, he is simply a very happy soul.
Would I re-home him? Potentially.
If the right home came along then I would certainly consider it for Ingo.

Grandson to Tiger
Great Granddaughter to Roma & Vito
Boaz is 3rd generation GVW GSD
Boaz came to us in July 2023 as a 4-year-old from a wonderful vet in Holland.
He settled in as if he had always been here. Strong, responsive, loving.
Originally Tiger, my 2nd ever stud boy had mated to a female GSD from Holland and so the story began.
When Boaz came up for re-homing the lady vet in Holland, who has one of our dogs from Athena & Captain’s 2023 litter, was insistent that Boaz came to me as she felt he would complement our breeding programme.
I said we have enough boys….roll forward a few months and the lady had done all of his tests and asked when he could be collected!!!! I like directness.
And so, Boaz is a firm favourite here with the other dogs, the team and our visitors.
He is very big, but well proportioned just as his grandfather Tiger was.
Boaz brings back into the GVW GSD the fantastic nature of Tiger and the pups that he has produced.
With being only 2 generations off from Tiger but with a fabulous mix of other bloodlines, we really are privileged to have this boy with us.
I am very excited to see him thrive here.
One day he will be looking for his forever home, maybe fully retired or maybe as a stud boy off site, if you know me well enough to reach our please do so.
Fuji
Fuji (Sisi & Merlot 2024)
Fuji is an extremely affectionate girl. I suspect in her dream life, she would want to be cuddled up to someone for most of the day.
She’s extremely calm for a GSD and travels well in the car and doesn’t bark much at all.
She understands “sit”, “down” and “heel” on lead walks. She is extremely food motivated (literally hoovers up her food) and is a big girl so do be careful leaving food on the table / sides as she is prone to reaching it!
Fuji just wants to be cuddled and be with you.
She’s extremely bonded to Hebe and they’re wonderful together.
Fuji is wary of our young children. She isn’t really sure what they are and how to behave with them. She is much better than she was when we first got her and we have tried hard to socialise her with them and other young children but she can still growl and be a bit nippy. This will need continued work.
I would suspect she would prefer a home with adults or older / bigger children.
She would make someone a wonderful companion if they are perhaps working from home or retired as she is generally very restful and calm in the house.
She’s happily walked off lead and walks with other dogs of all shapes and sizes.
She can be prone to jumping up if there is food around and things something that would need to be continued to be worked on.
Fuji will make someone the most wonderful companion.
